SYNOPSIS: Meter is a film about a group of young black men who start a gospel quartet and their struggle to make their music reflect the life and love they are living as oppose to the pain and death the old songs sing about. As they search to define their beliefs their community learns how to extend love and justice to all..

[10] African American/Black Man (CIS or Trans) 18 - 29, slim to large build
-- MUST be able to sing gospel --

[4] African American/Black Woman, 18 to 35 years old, slim to large build

[2] African American/Black Man, 40s and older, slim to medium
-- MUST have knowledge of black church experience (Baptist, Pentecostal, etc.)

SHOOTING DATES: TBD but likely mid November

COMPENSATION: Performance for tape/DVD, and food. No pay.
